| Storm Peak Energy has added to its Culberson County assets through the acquisition of properties from Loco Hills, New Mexico-based B&L Oil and Gas. The acquisition included 480 acres with a total of 9 wells. The B&L properties are immediately adjacent to the company’s existing leases. The wells produce from the Bell Canyon member of the Delaware Mountain Group of sands. Storm Peak Vice President Mark Ellerbe commented “This acquisition made sense because of operating synergies and the potential to re-activate and re-stimulate some wells. B&L made a good start getting these leases in shape and we think we can take them to the next level.” |
